Our Care · Hospice Care

Hospice care in a home, not a hospital.

Fairfield County House is a residential home for people on hospice in Fairfield County, Connecticut. Residents receive hospice care through their hospice agency, and our on-site team provides 24/7 nursing and personal care in a comfortable, home-like setting. It’s an alternative to spending the end of life in a hospital, a nursing home, or under the strain of full-time caregiving at home.

Who hospice care is for.

Hospice care is for people whose physician has determined they are nearing the end of life and who have chosen comfort-focused care. If you’re unsure whether it’s the right time, we can help you think it through, and we also offer palliative care for people who aren’t ready for hospice yet.
